After the demolition of the village 10-pin bowling facility, the shell of this building was maintained to form a clean skin for the new ELC. The site comprises 1800 sqm of learning and administrative spaces which were the canvas for a $130k suite of custom built joinery. The reception room contains Corian surfaces, partly clad with back-lit DecoBattens in a wood grain finish. The cabinet carcasses were made from simple melamine and finished with timber-laminate doors and ultra-matt black benchtops. Wet-area partitions included structural Vertiboard by Laminex.
