This local project delivered a well-deserved new facility to a thriving community of sports teams. Once the debris of the previous facilities were demolished, works began on the excavation to prepare the footings for the new slab. And that's when the challenges began. The true condition of the soil was revealed which caused work to halt pending revised engineering on the slab. Once back underway, this delay put the team under extreme time and budget pressures.

Kubale Constructions provided Baw Baw Shire Council our Value Management services in this project. This gave us opportunity to assist the council reduce costs and recover time lost to the earlier delay.

The construction itself was fairly conventional and required a lot of flexibility and communication with council to manage the various issues and stakeholder needs. Completed in time for the season opener.

Construction Techniques Employed
