Kubale Constructions was contracted to build the new Bank Place Medical Centre which involved the construction of medical clinics and facilities of approximately 980 square meters. This $1.6m development took place on a green-fields site and very prominent corner block in the growing regional town of Drouin in Victoria.
In total, works included eight suites, three treatment rooms, various nurses’ stations, an administration office, foyer, resource library, staff kitchen and a new retail pharmacy. The superstructure consisted of concrete slab with lightweight timber frame and large span timber trusses. A car park of over 1000 square metres was then constructed adjoining this new purpose designed building along with all the associated civil works.
This project was successfully completed on time and within budget in November 2011. |
